Today is proving to be a magnificent day for rave reviews about our cosmetic dentistry here at The Harley Street Smile Clinic (www.harleystreetsmileclinic.co.uk).  We received a lovely card, champagne and flowers from one of our lovely patients Clare.  I had to share this with you:

So Thank YOU, Clare for this lovely card you sent us.  It really is lovely to be appreciated, and to know that you have made a difference in someone's life.  Cosmetic Dentistry may well be 'cosmetic' but to some people it is life changing and confidence boosting.  It certainly changed my life when I had my veneers done.  To have people tell me I have a great smile is still music to my ears - 16 years on.

Cosmetic Dentistry Review

So a lovely email landed in my inbox this morning and I just had to share it with the world as it has made my day!  The great thing about my job is that I see what a difference a great smile can make to a person's confidence.  Here is what one of our lovely patients had to say about the full set of veneers he had placed just a couple of days ago:

Hi Jill

After having spent the first full day with my new smile - I can say it was definitely worth it! I couldn't really talk properly yesterday because of the aneasthetic so I thought I'd send a quick email!

Today at work, everybody commented on how nice and white my teeth are now - but despite the 'Hollywood' colour (and the perfect shape/alignment) they still look natural - a real testament to the quality and workmanship of the legendary Maurice!!!

I know I will be seeing you all again shortly for the followup appointment but I just wanted to say thank you now because I am genuinely very excited with my new smile :) Unlike some of your more recent celeb clients I wanted my teeth transformed more out of confidence reasons as opposed to purely cosmetic reasons. Having always struggled with confidence for many years largely due to me being unhappy with my teeth for a long time - I now feel a totally different person - and I think now having a nice white smile will help me massively :) So naturally I am very happy to have found you, Kat and Maurice - its been one of the best experiences I have had so far - will certainly recommend your clinic to people who ask me.

On a more practical note, everything is fine with the veneers (just have to remember to wear sunglasses when I look in the mirror!)

Danielle Lloyd Smile Makeover with The Harley Street Smile Clinic

Well right now we have Danielle Lloyd in the chair having her veneers fitted.  Danielle had 10 veneers placed on her teeth about 6 years ago, and she decided she wanted to improve on their appearance in time for her upcoming wedding to Jamie O'Hara.  Danielle recently appeared on This Morning wearing her temporary veneers (see below) and they looked fantastic!  No one would have known they were just her temporaries, which is testament to how good our temporary veneers look.  When we set about creating a new smile we give the patient a trial run of their new veneers in temporary form.  They are made to the spec we have requested so that the patient can make sure they are happy with how they look.  If there are any adjustments the patient would like we can arrange for this to be done in time for the final porcelain veneers.

TOWIE's Jessica Wright Gets Her Teeth Whitened at The Harley Street Smile Clinic

Jessica Wright of TOWIE fame came to visit Dr Maurice Johannes at The Harley Street Smile Clinic as she wanted to get her teeth as white as possible.  Dr Johannes performed the Enlighten deep bleaching laser treatment and as you can see from the photo her t teeth were dazzling after the treatment.  Jessica was really happy with the results of her treatment.

Frankie Essex Gets Her Smile Makeover from The Harley Street Sm ile Clinic

Frankie Essex of TOWIE fame came to see Dr Maurice Johannes at The Harley Street Smile Clinic as she wanted to improve the look of her teeth without having veneers.  Frankie's teeth were different lengths and shapes so we were able to just contour the tips of her teeth to shorten and shape them slightly; and then we laser whitened them to give her the gleaming smile she wanted.  Frankie was over the moon with the results as this picture shows:

Chloe Sims Gets Veneers from The Harley Street Smile Clinic

Chloe Sims of TOWIE fame fame to see Dr Maurice Johannes at the Harley Street Smile Clinic because she was very unhappy with the appearance of her teeth.  Chloe had sucked her thumb when she was younger which cause the protrusion she had at the front.  The protrusion was slightly reduced when we placed veneers and bridgework on her upper and lower teeth to perfect her smile.  Chloe was very particular about what she wanted to achieve with her smile.  She wanted to have very big, very white, straight teeth, with little or no definition on the tips of her veneers.  It is not in the least bit common to request veneers to be made in this way, but it was Chloe's preference to have them like this.  She is over the moon with the results of her treatment, and is now happier than she has ever been with her smile.  Chloe was a very nervous patient but her experience here has taken away a great deal of her fear, which has been a real bonus to her having her teeth done.

Lauren Pope Gets Veneers at The Harley Street Smile Clinic

Lauren Pope came to see Dr Maurice Johannes here at the Harley Street Smile Clinic for porcelain veneers on her upper teeth.
